Quit Smoking For a Healthier Life Ahead

Quitting smoking may seem harder than it sounds. Most smokers say that it’s easier said than done. But it’s a fact that smoking causes a lot of different diseases or sickness especially in the later life. Most smokers suffer several diseases as they get older. You have to think about this fact for it can affect your life forever. But it’s never too late to save your life from it. Quit smoking now and you’ll have a better and healthier life ahead of you. I will share to you some of the health benefits you’ll gain when you stop smoking.

Cigarettes contain nicotine which produces carbon monoxide. When you smoke it into your body, hemoglobin, which normally carries oxygen into our blood stream, would make room for carbon monoxide providing lesser oxygen in our body. This is the reason why most smokers tend to have shortness of breathing every time.

But when you quit smoking, everything would eventually get back to normal. Yes withdrawal symptoms would usually be observed and manipulated in the first few hours after you quit smoking. But in the start of your process of detoxifying yourself from the toxins which smoking have brought to your body, you will be able to experience different body reactions that would lead to stabilizing your body into a more normal state.

Moreover, quitting smoking would make you feel better. You will increasingly experience high levels of energy each day. Your risk of heart attack and stroke will decrease from the first 2 days you have quitted smoking. Eventually, after a few years of not smoking, your risk will even lower to zero.

Smokers usually experience daily cough and sneezing from colds; as what we usually call it “the smoker’s cough”. These sicknesses are very disturbing to our everyday lives. When you quit smoking, these sicknesses will be ceased in a matter of weeks.

Furthermore, smokers usually won’t last in every exercise there is. They usually tend to easily get tired and manipulate shortness of breath. But when you quit smoking, your lungs will heal and you will be able to keep up with every exercise you will go through in just a matter of weeks or months. You will be able to breathe more conveniently.

Most lung cancer patients are smokers. If you want to lower or zero your risk for any kind of cancer that smoking causes, then quit smoking now. We all know very well that smoking kills. Quit now and you’ll be able to gain the health benefits I have just told you about.
