4 Myths That Are Keeping You Addicted to Smoking Cigarettes & Excuses You Use to Avoid Quitting

Have you ever began to do something, but looked at the degree of difficulty involved and said to yourself…”Jeez that’s a lot of hard work, it’s not even worth it!”

Well when you want to quit smoking, you will look at it as this huge obstacle that takes years and years to do, and its all because of the myths that we have allowed to enter into our belief system. These myths are beliefs that other people who cannot stop smoking, have chosen to impose upon you, and you may have even told yourself these things from time to time as as way to not even make an effort to stop smoking.

Here are just a few myths that handicap us from ever truly making an effort to quit smoking.

“Quitting is Just About Will Power”“The Only Barrier To Quitting Is ‘Habit’”“I Need Cigarettes To Cope With Stress”“I’ve Smoked Too Long To Quit”

These are examples of myths that we tell ourselves that simply aren’t true.

So what does it take to really stop smoking for good? Most people think it’s all about having the willpower. They say if you’re strong enough to break your habits, you can quit, and if not, then you are doomed.

When people fail to quit it is not because they lack willpower, it is simply because they lack ‘knowledge’. In most cases, unsuccessful quitters simply have the slightest clue about what it really wakes to end their smoking addiction.

And with an abundance of myths filtering through the internet, it can become almost impossible for one to grab a hold of the right information they need to quit smoking for good.
